1. No spamming, this includes one word posts such as "Lol", "Rofl" etc. and posts that add nothing to the conversation. Also, don't randomly blurt out random one worded- posts such as "hey" or "sup?". This rule will be monitored closely in the chat threads of NR. Posting random pictures with no explanation is another example of spamming, and will not be tolerated unless the image is used with an explanation that is relevant to the topic.

2. Please do not post anything that is likely to provoke another member. We like to keep the boards as clean and as friendly as possible, and provocative posts will not be tolerated. If you have any problems, take it to MSN, or report it to a staff member.

3. Porn/Hentai/Ecchi is not permitted on the forums. Posting any images of a sexual nature will result in a ban.

4. You ARE allowed to bump old threads, but only with a post deemed relevant and constructive enough to help the topic. If you are going to revive a thread, make sure you don't post something that doesn't help the topic.

5. Don't PM advertise. This is against the rules and will be punished harshly. If you receive a PM advertisement, then report it to one of the staff, and it will be dealt with.

6. No alt accounts. This means you can't register more then once. If you have a sibling in the house who uses a different computer, PM one of the Admins and exceptions may be made. If you are banned and create an alternate account, whatever suspension you have received earlier will become permanent, and your “new account” will also be banned.

7. Racism won't be tolerated. Discrimination isn't tolerated in real life, and won't be tolerated here.

8. Personal information cannot be given out on anyone unless the person who's information is being submitted has asked permission.

9. Don't troll the forums. Trolling is basically being off topic on a forum, posting posts that inflame arguments and affecting the well being of the forums. When faced with trolls, it is best to just ignore them and to let the staff deal with things.

10. There are to be no threats in any kind of form to any member on NR or NR itself. Any threats or negative actions taken towards the forum will result in a perma ban.

11. Respect the members. Don't harass them inside the forums or in the IRC. If the Administrator catches a member of NR harassing another member/staff member of NR elsewhere, a ban will result.

12. Don't make misleading topic titles that may draw the members to the wrong thing. If it wouldn't make your topic noticeable, then don't make the topic at all.
