As topic says, I want to know not only the average retail price, but the best place to shop. Be it an actual retail store, the internet, or from a shady figure in a dark, back alley.
As for games, I want all the "classic ones" like the mario games, zelda games, etc. I also want Rhythm Heaven (looks fun :p).
Well, if you want a DS Lite it's kinda late for those. The DSi is here and everything.
If you want a DS or a DS Lite, then your best bet is Gamestop. Not sure how much used copies are, but new ones are around $139.99, iirc.
As for games, if you want classics, then you can literally get some: Super Mario 64 DS is a prime example. If you want games that play like classics, then Kirby Squeak Squad actually isn't too bad of an idea, although Kirby Super Star Ultra and Kirby Canvas Curse are FAR superior to that game (and KSSU plays identical to KSS).
Some other nice titles on the DS are Elite Beat Agents, Pheonix Wright (whichever), Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, New Super Mario Bros, Zelda Phantom Hourglass (if you like Zelda. If you're like me, Sonic, etc. then stay away), and Pokemon DPPt. HGSS is nice if you're willing to not care for the major flaws of the game.

So DSi would be the way to go??
No If you want to play DS games and have backwards compatibility to all the real classic handheld games then a Lite is your best pick. Not to mention you can get one barely used for 99 bucks, even less if you buy used online like on Amazon. I got mine at gamestop for 99 and it was just like new. They run brand new for 129.99.
So if you want a gigantic library of games for a low price get a Lite. If you want to only play DS games for the rest of your life get a Dsi and spend more money. Even a used Dsi will be over 100. You might regret buying one.
