It is clear to me he had some intention of advertising his sprite comic. As much as these rank-up threads are spam, I believe that is a bit inappropriate, especially given the fact that Sylux has told him to stop.
If his sole intention was to inform us that he had ranked up, I think he would have left out the link.

e: Point made, but honestly I didn't think it was a huge deal to begin with. Regardless, topic has been edited. Syarith, if Sylux really has been telling you not to advertise as much then I'd suggest you listen. Just because I don't think it's a big deal doesn't mean he wouldn't.
